Week 1, Day 2

Howdy!
Sorry for not posting this sooner as I was out seeing the fireworks for the 4th of July! Speaking of that, we DO have camp tomorrow on July 4th so please send your camper as usual.

We did many great things today at camp! In sports the cubs worked on their frisbee belt loop. During Handicraft the cubs made neckerchief slides and sewed Native American medicine pouches. They learned how to build fires in Scoutcraft and went swimming and paddle boating in waterfront. In Nature they took a hike and identified different plants. They practiced shooting in BB and were unable to have archery because of our absent Archery Director. However, they still had fun program time to plan their skits and songs for the campfire on Friday! We even found Paco the Pig climbing a tree and trying to get into the slushies at the Trading Post!

We hope your camper is having a lot of fun at camp. If you have any questions or concerns do not hesitate to comment on our blog or call me or Jeff Harris our Camp Director.

Thanks!
Sheriff Annie (Program Director)
