We had another great day of fun at Cub Scout Day Camp. Your cubs worked on their Ultimate Frisbee Belt Loop, went on a scavenger hunt in Nature, continued sewing in Handicraft, went hiking in Scoutcraft, practiced shooting in Archery and BB, and went paddle-boating at Waterfront. The afternoon brought some really hot sun so we even played some water games in Sports.

Please make sure your cub scout is bringing a water bottle to camp and using it frequently! We have been having a lot of visits to the Health Officer because of stomach aches and headaches due to dehydration.

We hope your cub scout is having a lot of fun at camp. If your cub scout is still missing an extra t-shirt, please make sure to send a note or email me at anniemac6@aol.com. Also, if you are changing the way your cub will be picked up at the end of the day or getting him early from camp, please send a note. Our Lost and Found is still very full so make sure your cub visits it in the morning to check for missing items. We have many water bottles, towels, socks, lunch boxes, and more!
COMING SOON: Our Campfire Celebration will be held on
FRIDAY at 3:30pm at camp. Please be sure to
arrive at 3:15, park in the upper parking lot, and walk down the trail to camp. There will be
NO BUS SERVICE ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON, so please make sure you come to our Campfire to bring your cub home after. The Trading Post will be open after the campfire, as well as our Art Gallery (where you can pick up your cub's artwork from the week).
