We had so much fun at camp today! We started our morning off with Den 1 helping out with the flag ceremony. Then the dens were off to all of our different areas. Cubs were able to go on nature hikes, learn fire safety and how to build a fire, make tye-dye bandanas, learn to sew, make leather neckerchief slides, use our bouldering wall and rock-throwing range, shoot at Archery and BB, and play fun games at Waterfront! They are doing so much this week that they will be earning about 10 belt loops! Check out all the fun they had in the pictures and videos below!
We apologize for the delay in getting your cubs the extra shirts they ordered. If they are still missing extra shirts and you ordered them, please contact me at anniemac6@aol.com and I will make sure to get them tomorrow. Also, please have your cub check our lost and found; we have many items. Don't forget that we have an awesome Trading Post available for your cubs where they can buy slushies, ice cream, and other delicious treats during lunch.
We hope your cub scout is having as much fun as our staff during Cub Scout Day Camp! We have much more in store for them tomorrow! Tell them to look forward to panning for gold in Nature, making delicious treats over a campfire in Scoutcraft, using paddle boats at Waterfront, and much much more!
